or a major military band of another country, e.g.,

• La Banda della Caribinieri
• Le Garde Repúblicaine

The National Concert Band rehearses on Monday evenings in Alexandria, VA.  Please contact our Conductor (301) 567-2757, or our President (703) 371-7135 to discuss your participation.

Occasional Openings in the National Concert Band

The National Concert Band of America is primarily interested in musicians who have played at the professional level required of members of the bands mentioned above.  We often have the need of substitutes for periods of time, or permanent positions when people in the above category are not available.  If you feel that your playing and experience are of a level compatible with retired and former concert band professionals, and are interested in pursuing opportunities with the Band, please contact one of the people mentioned above to discuss openings, your experience, and a potential meeting, with your horn, at a rehearsal of the Band.   Click here to display an application form required for membership.
