As a public service to residents of the Greater Washington D.C. area, the National Concert Band of America performs four free concerts each season. The musicians in the NCBA represent many occupations, professions, and ages, rehearsing once a week from September to May. Throughout its long history the band has adhered to a tradition of performing a broad range of works representing the very best in the American concert band tradition. The opportunity to perform and to hear concert band music in a live musical environment is truly rewarding to audiences and performers. The band encourages attendance at concerts by senior citizens, children, students, families, disabled persons, and community groups.
The National Concert Band of America invites you to become a contributing member of our organization. Band projects and programs are supported by dues and contributions from musician members and contributions from individuals, businesses, and foundations. Your contribution will support the band’s mission to promote the traditions of the American concert band through masterful performances. Contributing Members receive announcements of concerts and a printed acknowledgement in concert programs.
